Turning Compassion into Action
Our volunteers are the backbone of our operations, dedicating their time and talents to help us reach more individuals in need. From sewing and stuffing bears to organizing fundraising events, their efforts are vital. Brookside Christian Academy is a school that has grown tremendously and is a key to Phillip’s Love Bears® success. The school has a long history of being involved with helping stuff the bears and bringing the kids together for a good cause. Phillip’s Love Bears® enters the classrooms and shares a presentation to help the participating students understand what the Phillip’s Love Bears® mission is and how their efforts that day help children around the world. The students respond positively and energetically, having a great time stuffing the bears so that the completed animals can be dispersed.
Communities Around the World Making a Big Impact
Phillip’s Love Bears® works directly with representatives in communities from countries like South Korea and the Dominican Republic to create traditional outfits for each of the stuffed animals. We engage in multiple discussions with representatives to determine which animal each community will design clothing for and what the proper attire should be. Phillip’s Love Bears(R) has even worked to create new animals for communities when needed or requested, such as the soon-to-be-released Phillip’s Love Panda in South Korea. Phillip’s Love Bears(R) looks forward to continuing to expand this initiative. When it comes to offering comforting paw, the impact far outweighs any monetary investment needed to ensure our products are well-received by and truly support the people those they are created for.
